CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm. Jeannette opened the meeting.
AGENDA
1. KEY CARD ENTRY SYSTEM for the Pool, AKA the ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM that utilizes Proximity Cards. The quote received from VKA Security (this was the lowest bid received) for the cost of the installation of this system is $14,692 plus POSSIBLE other additional work that might be needed for an additional cost in the amount of $5,000. A lengthy discussion was had over initiating this System to prevent unauthorized users and/or abusers of the pool in check. It was mentioned that some of the illegal users climb over the fence and that now the fence is in dire need of repair. So….How would TWL now pay for this? (A) Borrow money from reserves? (B) Move monies around from other accounts? (C) A $225 one time assessment from each household? After much debate, discussion and input the Board voted 5 to 1 to implement the installation of the ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM.
2. Community Street Lighting. Members present we’re all satisfied with the street lighting in the Community.
3. Redo of green fenced in area on the left side after entering the Community. Consensus agreed that it is a HUGE EYE SORE and does nothing to positively impress our Community. Jeannette will call the proper vendor to check things out.
4. House Paint Colors. To keep in harmony with neighborhood house colors It was suggested to call DR Horton as they have ALL such pertinent information on file.
5. Food Trucks. Vote was unanimous to continue have the Food Trucks coming.
6. Suggestions for other Community Improvements.
a. Better lighting at TWL entrance for our Community’s children going to school and that
maybe FPL could help with implementing this.
b. Construction of Bench with Roof for our Community’s children to sit on and be protected especially in inclement weather while waiting for the school bus to arrive.
7. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30pm.
